Introduction

The J.S. Bach International Artwhistling Competition (BIAC) is the first competitive whistling event to be held within the established norms of international music competitions. The goal is to encourage standards of artistic excellence in human whistling that can be respected throughout the professional music community. There are no age limitations.

BIAC is still in the planning stages; however interested applicants are welcome to submit materials to the IAPS Faculty in advance.

The International Artwhistling Philharmonic Society neither confers nor recognises 'world' or 'international' whistling champion titles.
